Do You Need Patience To Succeed In Network Marketing?

Does Network Marketing Require Patience To Succeed?

Good businesses take a while to build. Why is it then that in internet and network marketing that people expect instant results? Do we need a little more patience?
Last night I had the pleasure of attending a StemTech Health Sciences business meeting.
You may find it strange that I call a business meeting a pleasure: however meetings with representatives of this company are always interesting and usually challenging.
Of course I am biased because it is my primary company and I love the product and I personally know a number of the  people  associated with StemTech and many of them are like family.
However this meeting did not just focus on housekeeping and details that would only be appropriate for personnel in the company, but had a broader outlook to problems experienced by all network marketers; whether online or offline.
For example what happens when you share the benefits of your product with people that just don't believe in the value of it or indeed even believe testimonies about the product?

Does Patience Have Any Value In Network Marketing?

Before I answer that question, I should define the dictionary meaning of patience because it is one of the most misused words in the English language.
Webster's dictionary gives us three different definitions:
  1. The state or quality of being patient; the power of suffering with fortitude; uncomplaining endurance of evils or wrongs, as toil, pain, poverty, insult, oppression, calamity, etc.
  2. The act or power of calmly or contentedly waiting for something due or hoped for; forbearance.
  3. Constancy in labor or application; perseverance.
Interestingly enough - only one of those definitions has anything to do with waiting for something to happen, which is the most understood meaning of word and probably more colloquial than the other two. However the original meaning of the word 'patience' had more to do with perseverance and endurance than the way we use it today. My focus in this article is on perseverance and endurance.
To return to my original question:
  • Do you have the patience to succeed in network marketing? Or to rephrase the question using the definition in Webster's dictionary:
  • Do you have the qualities of perseverance and endurance to succeed in network marketing?
Sure in any kind of marketing you need "know how" but if you have joined a network marketing group; then they will usually give you strategies.
In any group you will find some who succeed and some who don't. What is the difference?
It's really very simple - the one who succeeds has followed directions to the letter - over and over and over again.
Success doesn't come overnight - unless you have been following a plan. Then, after due diligence, suddenly overnight your articles appear on page one of Google. I hasten to add that if you don't keep up the hard work then you will not appear on page one for very long!
So - do you use perseverance and endurance to succeed in network marketing? Indeed - are those qualities part of your makeup? We don't always come pre-wired that way, but that doesn't mean we are not able to learn to utilise those qualities. Don't let people tell you that you can't change yourself because you can if you really want to.
Now you know how to succeed; so its time to get to work and prove that you can!
If you are looking for a group of people that will help you to succeed, then I suggest that you try this one. You will find people willing to help you along the way. Just click here.
I wish you every success.
